Clutter

This is my “creative” space.

I tried to organize my craft area and this is what I got.

I managed to clear some things away. The chair is empty. The earless ardvark has been relocated. The striped tshirt has been repaired and put away. The biggest problem is the stack of bag parts that are to the left of the machine. I don’t have a place to store them. They have to lay flat or they will become an wrinkly nightmare.

I can’t sew unless my table is clear.

Any ideas?

  1. what about a wide clear drawer rolling chest…all the Targets and Walmarts have them like these:

    or check out these:

Or you can do what I do—plastic baskets as wide as needed. You can even get them at the Dollar Store…something like this:

    or closed containers like these:

  2. Are baskets or a wire basket/shelf system on wheels an option, that you can keep close by and wheel around? Or use the wall in front of you to put up shelf or two if you don’t already? Having a small work space is a challenge, keeping it tidy to keep working is too! Let us know what you come up with. Happy week to you all ((HUGS))

  3. This is going to be a pathetic suggestion, but how about the floor? If I put my stuff away then I forget I have it. I have some small piles all over the floor. They are stacked nicely so they don’t drive me nuts, but I also get to see everything. :o)
